Last GOES-11 image (07/23/108 22:00 GMT)

The original satellite scan was processed by the SSEC The processed image was received via IDD at the SUNY DAS. Locally written software extracts pixels for the rectangle that spans 0...60 North and -165...-115 East which image you see below:

Our software writes also a pgm file of the original picture which then is normalized and reduced to get the image seen on the first Pic. above.
